Project Analysis and Design Review Process

Objectives

An internal review of analysis and design before customer review and approval ensures that analysis and design specification covers all the customer implicit and explicit requirements and that it fulfills its specified requirements of correctness and completes.

Tasks

  1. Development Team Lead/Project Manager reviews the Analysis and Design Specification.
  2. During the review process, the reviewer tries to assess if the proposed system will meet the customer’s explicit and implicit needs.
  3. During review Development Team Lead/Project Manager may update the Analysis and Design Specification himself or send the review comments to the Development Team to update the Specification.
  4. After Review and update, Development Team Lead/Project Manager sends the Analysis and Design Specification to Quality Assurance Team for review.
  5. Quality Assurance Team reviews the Analysis and Design Specification and sends his review comments to the Development team.
  6. Development Team updates Analysis and Design Specification according to review comments (if any).
