Deploying Channels Section

Both outbound and inbound channels will be created by following the above-described procedure. Now, outbound and inbound channels should be deployed so that they can pull or receive the message from the source database or source interface, respectively.

Open Mirth Administrator from Program -> Mirth Connect, launch the Mirth Administrator. Click on the “Channels” link to view the list of channels under “Mirth Connect Menu Options” as shown in figure below.

The following figure will appear, which will show the list of interfaces. For deployment right right-click on the channel and click on the “Deploy Channel” option to deploy it. Perform the same procedure for Outbound and Inbound Channels/Interfaces

Now, outbound will start pulling the data from the source database, and after transformation and converting it into the proper HL7 message, it will send the message to the Inbound interface. Inbound channel will accept the message, and after validation, it will store the message in the destination database and send the acknowledgment back to the source interface.
